Cincinnati Landfill and Recycling Services
Hafner's landfill/recycling facility can only accept “construction and demolition debris” which means materials resulting from the alteration, construction, destruction, or repair of any manmade physical structure, including, without limitation, houses, buildings, industrial or commercial facilities or roadways; and “clean hard fill” which means construction and demolition debris which consists only of reinforced or non-reinforced concrete, asphalt, brick, block, tile, and/or stone which can be reutilized as construction material.
ALLOWED TO ACCEPT
The structural portion of a building that was demolished including items those that were permanently attached to building, such as:
- Lumber and framing material
- Siding and roofing
- Windows and doors
- Spouting and plumbing fixtures
- Furnaces
- Brick
- Wiring and insulation
CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS
Clean construction material resulting from new home construction, rehabilitation, or renovation.
CLEAN HARD FILL:
This material includes, dirt, rock, concrete, gravel, or any combination of these.
WOOD, BRUSH and YARD WASTE
Our facility is a licensed compost facility.
NOT ALLOWED TO ACCEPT
NO ROLL-OFF CONTAINERS FROM:
- Industrial sites
- Special event locations
NO SOLID WASTE, SUCH AS:
- Home cleanouts of any kind
- Tires or inner tubes
- Appliances or appliance packaging
- Household trash
- Old clothing
- Cans of any kind
- Furniture
- Desks or file cabinets
- Rugs or rolled carpet
- Food waste or food packaging
- Paper waste
- Drums and barrels
- Plastic and metal jugs
- Rubber or plastic hose
Please note that the clerk or landfill attendant may refuse loads that are not in accordance with local and state landfill regulations. We thank you for your compliance and in the case that your load cannot be accepted, we will direct you to a facility that can accommodate your needs.
